Taylor Wilson: My radical plan for small nuclear fission reactors

Taylor Wilson was 14 when he built a nuclear fusion reactor in his parents' garage. Now 19, he returns to the TED stage to present a new take.

Taylors idea is to create some small nuclear reactors that can bring energy to some parts of the world by using . So he's trying to provide the world with clean energy that will save our environment, while also making it affordable to lift millions out of poverty.

This can also make think aboout a design of a modular structure to realize coupling of various fusion reactors, what would allow us to maximize the power production solving the problem of the high current energy demand. Besides, this invention can determinate the features of a fusion reactor for its application in nuclear powered ships.

For years, nuclear fusion was studied as an alternative to nuclear fission because of its remarkable advantages for security and financial issues. However, today, there is not working any fusion reactor to produce continuous electrical energy of high voltage
